Peanut Butter, Bananas & Chocolate Breakfast Smoothie
1/2 cup Almond Milk
2 tbsp Greek Yogurt
1 – 1 1/2 tbsp Peanut Butter or Almond Butter
1 tbsp Chocolate Powder
1 tbsp Honey
1/2 Fresh or Frozen Banana
Directions
Begin by adding your almond milk first, this will help all your ingredients blend smoothly. Next, add the yogurt, peanut or almond butter, chocolate and honey. Lastly, add your frozen banana. I like to blend on low to medium speed until the consistency allows me to drink it with a straw. If you find that you are having trouble with a too-thick consistency, you can add more almond milk until the ingredients in your blender come together nicely.
Now pour into a glass and enjoy! Delicious!
Quick Tip: When buying a chocolate powder at the store, you want to find one that’s going to be the closest to an organic chocolate with less additives and less sugar added. I find that I can trust anything I find at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods, however, if you have to shop at a regular grocery store make sure to read the labels. Reading labels can save you from adding unhappy hidden ingredients into your happy healthy body!
