Malibu Wines
Malibu Wines is probably our most frequented wine tasting venue. I love the atmosphere, with its open air pavilion and multiple areas to grab tastings. There is a live band every weekend afternoon and special events throughout the month. I just saw they do yoga and mimosas two Sundays a month! You can park for free in their shuttle lot and take the shuttle over or Valet for $14. Good news, you can bring your own food, picnic style, but no outside alcohol. Wine flights are $12-$14 with four tastings.

Ojai is a cute little town situated about an hour and half outside of L.A. and known for being a relaxing place to visit. If you happen to be around the town, check out Meditation Mount before heading on down to Montgomery street for wine in the afternoon. On the weekends they do a special library flight where you can taste 10-20 year old aged wines.

The Santa Barbara Urban Wine Trail
This is not one single winery. Oh no. This is 28 wineries, most within walking distance of each other. The link above shows the map, but expect lots of wine and maybe plan to spend the weekend or at the least night. Props to those you make to all 28. Get an Urban Wine Trail membership card for $150, which gets you one free tasting at each winery. Tastings usually run about $15, but vary from winery. Hours also vary between wineries.
