Not only is wedding season in full swing, but so is bachelorette party time! It’s your best friend’s time to party down with her ladies before she becomes a MRS and she chose Las Vegas baby. Want to make this the best weekend without breaking the bank? Here’s how to have the ultimate bachelorette Vegas weekend.
What to do First
Get the girls in a Facebook group or email chain. This allows you to openly discuss budgets and other necessary items.
Set a budget. A healthy Vegas budget would be $300-$500 per girl for the weekend. This includes hotel stay, activities, food and of course, drinks!
Ask the bride what she wants! Does she want a strip club? Would she prefer spa days? Is this a foodie centric weekend? Remember: its about her, not you.
A perfect schedule leaves no one bored. Make sure the hours of the days are filled with more than just seeing how many vodka shots you can take down. Here’s a few examples:
Go big on the first night. Book a party bus! You can craft your own schedule through many websites, but I like the prices and activities for: www.mysincityparty.com
- pick up from hotel
- 75 minute pole dancing class
- drop off at (male or female) strip club of choice
- drop off at club of choice with one bottle and table service
Other options include comped dinner in lieu of pole dancing class. With these packages, the bottle and table service makes it worth it. Heading to a club with your girls is fun, but having a table to sit at with your purses just takes the cake. These packages range from $75-$200 a girl. Customize them however you want!
Have a spa day. Every hotel has its own spa. Call ahead to see what kind of group package deals you can swing.
Have a little cash to burn? Go shopping. From the shops at Planet Hollywood, to the expensive at the Bellagio and the Aria/Cosmopolitan, you can find anything you set out to.
Pick the clubs you want. My favorites are: Marquee, Hakkasan, XS and Ghostbar. Check their events page for specific DJ’s and covers. Sometimes if you go before 9 or 10PM you get free entry and free drinks.
Get a Promoter. It’s as easy as posting a pic of your ladies on the way to vegas. #bacheloretteparty #vegasweekend #partytime #girlstrip… you get the picture. The promoters will come to you. Promoters are there to get girls to clubs, so that guys will come and spend $$$$. You’ll get free limo service pickup and free entry to the club.
See a show! This is what Vegas is ALL about. All time favorites:
- Magic Mike
- Thunder Down Under
- Cirque Du Soleil
- Celine Deon
- Britney Spears
- La Reve
Get Matching Shirts/Sashes
This is my favorite thing. Bachelorette party shirts have some of the catchiest sayings. It’s so much fun to get all your girls to coordinate outfits and of course have the bride wear white all weekend. From white cocktail dresses to super chic white swimsuits. Although you might not wear the shirts out to the bar, they are a fun cover up for the pool and a great souvenir for years to come!
I also love “Bride Tribe” gear ranging from sashes to cute button pins. Anything to let the world know you’re here to celebrate!
Saturday will almost certainly be a pool day. Most love the idea of renting a cabana, but that’s only worth it if the party is bumping. A lot of the time, the best parties have the highest priced cabanas. For example: Wet Republic at the MGM is tons of fun, but cabanas are $1000-$3000. WAAY too expensive for most. Again, the best option is look for package deals, unless you’re playing it low key. At the Hardrock Hotel, Rehab Beach Club caters to Bachelorette parties, so they offer packages that range from $750 (7-8 girls) to $1000 (10-12 girls) that include one bottle of Belvedere Vodka, one bottle of Moet Champagne, a cabana and a 6 bottle champagne spray. This is worth it for the cabana and the alcohol + the added attention of being a bachelorette party.
If you’re playing it low key without the hoopla of a party, its pretty easy to get chairs at any of the pools. Best pools in Vegas are:
- The lazy river at the MGM
- Flamingo Go Pool
- Liquid Pool Lounge at the Aria
- The Garden of Gods Oasis at Caesars Palace
- The pool at the Mirage
- Encore Beach Club
Drinks at the pool can get spendy, so booze a little at brunch before heading out.
Where to Stay
Think about it, how much time do you actually spend in the hotel room? Sleeping and getting ready? Why spend the big bucks for a suite when you could spend that money elsewhere? Here’s my list of favorite rooms on the strip that are more affordable than you might think with that fancy tub you’ve always wanted to try:
- Go Rooms at the Flamingo
- Standard rooms at the Hardrock hotel
- Standard rooms at the MGM
- Planet Hollywood
- MGM Grand
- Paris Hotel
These rooms range from $130-$205 a night during peak summer weekend days. Four girls in a room is $50 a night per girl.
Still want that WOW factor? Mysincity offers suites packages too! The suites they offer are at the palms and include a cabana at the palms pool with limo service to certain clubs and strip clubs.
Another idea is check out the condo suites at the MGM Signature. They are affordable and have a kitchenette. If you’re willing to cook a little, you’ll save a ton on food expenses.
Where to Eat
If you’re going for two nights and two days (Fri-Sun) you’ll need to plan for 2 dinners, one or two lunches, and two breakfasts.
Options for dinner:
- order room service and eat while you doll up
- grab something easy from your hotel casino area (every hotel has tons of options and can accommodate large groups)
- Take a foodie tour
- Bardot Brasserie
- Beauty and Essex
- Bouchon Bistro
- CUT by Wolfgang Puck
- Cook your own meal!
It’s likely you’ll only head to one lunch, instead of two. You’ll be brunching and checking out on Sunday. It’ll be taco bell on the way home if anything.
- Lunch at the pool (they have pool bar options like burgers, chicken tenders, fries)
- Restaurant near the pool (you don’t want to wander to far from that sunshine)
- Room Service (because you may need a quick nap in the mid afternoon)
- Sandwiches in your room
Maybe you want to grab breakfast the first morning and go big at the brunch on checkout, either way you’ll find something palatable.
- Coffee shop breakfast (a dime a dozen in casinos)
- Breakfast buffet (heavy cost, free champagne)
- Any restaurant in the hotel serving breakfast
- food court in the hotel
- room service
- Foodie Brunch:
- Bardot Brasserie
- Cafe Americano
- Border Grill
How to Get There
If you’re in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, just drive. It’s tops six hours and two tanks of gas. Anywhere else? Fly into McCarran Airport. Tickets are pretty cheap, if booked in advance.
No matter what you plan, your weekend will be full of laughs with your best girlfriends. So grab a drink, sit back and remember: What happens in Vegas will probably end up on Instagram.
