Moab has my heart. It’s where I grew up, it’s where my family and friends still live and its where I like to visit twice a year to clock in some solid desert time. When I’m trying to have the perfect day in Moab, it looks like a little something like what I have below. Check out a day in the life of a Moab Local:
Either grabbing a coffee at Wicked Brew (Iced Apocalypse) or if I get up early enough having a iced dirty chai, while reading a book in Red Rock Bakery.
A short walk over to Moab Yoga to indulge in Porscha’s amazing Bhakti Flow class.
Having a late breakfast with the ladies at Eklectica Cafe. Mhmm Wakamé!
Floating on Ken’s Lake or rafting down the Colorado River.
Dinner and margaritas at Miguel’s Baja Grill.
Getting Drinks at Woody’s while hippy dancing to Stonefed.
There are many things I could interchange in here like: my favorite hike in moonlight meadows or a quick run up hidden valley, a evening river beach party, a bike and booze through town, an evening under the stars, a bonfire in the sand dunes, camping, wine at red cliffs, and a massage from Sarah Ball at Healing Arts.
Regardless of what I make time for, I always make sure to get more than a few these checked off.
