Seeing as we just spent a wonderful weekend in Park City, I thought I might share some of my favorite things to do in Park City, Utah in any season. I’m a sucker for anything snow related, but the summer is extraordinary here as well. With so much to do, it was hard to pin just a few activities down, but here it is!
Park City, Utah
Check out Main St. – Historic Park City Main St is a great place to start your first evening in Park City. Whether the sun is shinning or the snow is falling, Main St offers up amazing bites, really cool bars and the cutest little shops.
Hike or Ski the Canyons/ Park City Resort – The Canyons is my favorite out of the two. But both are equally fun. Canyons offers up more of a deep forest, but not super skinny tree runs through the mountain, whereas PC Resort has wider runs and more park.
Downhill bike or ski Deer Valley – Deer Valley is only for skiers, no boarders allowed. Hang out at this exclusive skiers only enclave or hit up the terrain during summer with a downhill bike. Who likes riding uphill anyway?

Emigration Canyon Rd
Take a scenic drive through Emigration – All it takes is an extra 5 minutes added to your drive before it pops you out on foothill. Off of Hwy 80, take the exit for Hwy 65 and turn right. Follow the road until you come to the sign for Emigration canyon RD. Turn Left. Follow this all the way and stop for lunch at Ruth’s diner! A local favorite.
Boat the Jordanelle Reservoir – Picnicking, swimming, camping, boating, fishing, this hidden gem has it all. Grab a float and a Trader Joe’s inspired picnic and head out for a day in the sun.
Alpine Coaster – At 30 MPH, this coaster screams through tight turns for over a mile. Take an adrenaline trip through Park City Mountain. Open for the summer and $25 a driver. Get more info here.

High West Distillery Source
High West Distillery – Who doesn’t love Whiskey? Did you know Utah had its very own distillery? Grab brunch or book a tour. They have curated cocktails and a small lunch menu. The distillery is located in Wanship, 20 minutes from Park City, however they have a fully stocked Saloon in downtown PC just off main st. Check out their awesome website to book a tour.

Gorgoza Park Source
Tubing at Gorgoza Park – Love the snow, but can’t shred the slopes? Hit up Gorgoza Park for a lift served tubing hill. Yeah, that’s right, there is a lift to bring your tube up the hill! $40 for up to four hours, only open in the winter!
[…] Park City – Just nestled over the Wasatch range is Park City. A bustling ski town that hosts Sundance, but is fun all year around. The Canyons resort is my absolute favorite place to slay the slopes and then I stop into No Name Saloon for a drink and a buffalo burger. Main Street is where its happening. Check out my post on things to do in Park City. […]
