Hands down my favorite bar in the Salt Lake area, but that is because my roots are clad in cowgirl boots. The Westerner is by far the largest bar in the area, but you wouldn’t know that based on how packed it usually is. Friday night is ladies night, (free entry) and the weekends are jamming. Here is my Salt Lake City Bar Review: The Westerner
Wednesday – Free Line Dancing from 7PM-9PM and Discounted Steins!
Thursday – is Thirsty! Discounted Steins
Friday – Ladies Night (Free Entry) & Live Music & Line Dancing 7PM-9PM
Saturday – Live Music
Check out their schedule to see if there are special events or concerts
There is Karaoke EVERY night in the Karaoke room.
FREE Bull rides every night for the brave.
Outside boasts a large patio area, where those few people can indulge in smoking.
Getting there is EASY! It’s a $14 uber from Sugarhouse. That’s nothing, if split between a group of friends. NEVER drink and drive, but don’t let its ‘way out in the boons’ location deter you from a rowdy time.
Opened in 1962, this bar has hosted a few big names and still holds its own for being the largest dance hall in Utah.
Grab your daisy dukes and shit kickers and spin yourself through a little Souther Comfort at The Westerner.
