Baseball may seem boring to most, but its actually one of my favorite sports to watch. Drinking, eating cracker jacks and singing in the bottom of 7th are just a few of the many things I look forward to. I’ve always been a Giants fan, they’re my favorite team, but had never been to a game at AT&T park. This was my prime opportunity to attend my first giants game!
I finally achieved that goal! We went on a double date with my cousin and his girlfriend, to see the giants play the Mets. We got club seats for a decent price and a Ghirardelli Sundae before the game ended.
If you’re driving, it costs $38 to park close to the ballpark, but I suggest public transportation, Uber or the ferry! Traffic was awful going and leaving. Did you know you can catch game day ferry from Larkspur or Vallejo? Goldengate Ferry is Larkspur to Game and San Francisco Bay Ferry is Vallejo to Game.
If you’re feeling up for the splurge, I’m a huge fan of anything Gilroy Garlic related and they happen to serve Gilroy Garlic Fries there! We also grabbed some delicious hot dogs on sourdough buns… so yummy. You’ll find that every place in San Fran offers up Sourdough, even Subway!
The weather can be unpredictable, what with the bay area and its very strange micro climates. I only wore a sweater and it was tid bit chilly. I should have brought blanket like my cousin’s very smart lady.
So grab a coat (its always chilly near the water) and get ready for a fun and beautiful evening at the Giants Game!
